E<\/span>xpanding its support for professional volleyball, Rebisco launched its 3rd volleyball team, the Criss Cross King Crunchers on March 1, 2024, at the Joy Nostalg Hotel in Ortigas. The team is set to compete for the first time in the 2024 Spikers\u2019 Turf Open and Invitational Conferences starting in March.<\/p>\n

Criss Cross is Rebisco\u2019s potato snack brand that comes in creamy cheese, cheesy sour cream and onion, sweet pepper steak, classic potato, and sweet corn flavors.<\/p>\n

\u201cVolleyball continues to rise as a sport in the country, not only for women but for men,\u201d said team manager Lizanne Co. \u201cWe are excited to introduce the Criss Cross King Crunchers men\u2019s team headed by team captain Ysay Marasigan and coached by Anusom \u201cTai\u201d Bundit.\u201d<\/p>\n

This further extends Rebisco\u2019s coverage of support for volleyball development in the country into men\u2019s professional indoor volleyball. Other company involvement includes grassroots and coaching\/skills development through the Rebisco Volleyball League for high school girls and the Rebisco Volleyball Academy; collegiate through the Ateneo Volleyball teams; the professional level through the Creamline Cool Smashers and the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the PVL; and through the Philippine National teams for men\u2019s and women\u2019s indoor and beach volleyball.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe expect men\u2019s volleyball to also rise in popularity as seen in the large crowds that watch foreign men\u2019s teams when they visit the country,\u201d Co added. \u201cOur local men\u2019s teams can also be as world-class as any other country\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
